Firth of Clyde - Loch Striven and the Kyles of Bute
The view from a yacht sailing out of Rothesay, Bute, Western Scotland. This is looking from just outside Rothesay Bay towards Loch Striven and the Kyles of Bute. We sailed out of Rothesay Bay and into the Firth of Clyde and then on past Dunoon to Rhu Marina.
The picture was taken on a Bank Holiday weekend in August 2005 - we were very lucky with the weather, even in August the West Coast of Scotland can be wet and cold. Beautiful scenery, it really is.
