Main Square of Verona
This picture of Verona's main square was taken from the top of the colosseum. The trees look beautiful against the background of the city.
The colosseum itself was in fact not as picturesque - because opera is staged there during good weather, the main arena and much of the seating areas had modern additions in place, ruining the Roman effect.
